Dan's Nicollet Car Wash has been a fixture on Nicollet Avenue since the 1960's. Amy and Alberto Bertomeu purchased the business in 2020 right before the COVID-19 pandemic took the world by storm. After being closed for a spell, Dan's is back with a great staff, and ready to clean your dirty cars!
Our Story
Amy and Alberto love being in the car wash business. This is a second career for both of them. Alberto hails from Spain, and then Germany where he studied engineering. Amy studied architecutre and urban design. Alberto brings a deep knowledge of mechanical systems and is always trying to improve the quality of the wash. Amy brings a desire to create place in the urban center. And they both love people. This makes Dan's a PLACE in the CITY where PEOPLE can come TOGETHER and leave with a CLEAN CAR.
